Pool Parties & Mini Van Mama's

So this past weekend we headed out to Cincinati for a pool party at our Aunt Patricia's house. We had such a great time swimming..and eating..and playing with all Ava's cousins. Ok I won't lie my favorite part was lying in the raft floating away toning everyone out and tryin to catch some rays haha! Here's some pics from our day in the sun!









On another note, how many of you are mini van moms? Or SUV Mama's. What does it say about you? I have literally spoken my feelings that I don't like nor will I ever own a mini van. Well any VAN for that matter. There just not cute. There just not hot. Nor will I be looked at as "cool" and "young" any longer once stepping foot into one. OK well after lugging in two carseats to my once nice malibu I figured out why moms , Families find them so convienent. Not only the extra space..and opening side doors..The extra's like storage and a dvd player for the kids. (Well I suppose that can come with any vehicle these days, but call me crazy I wasnt about to "pimp" out my ride to a malibu. So I took the plunge I searched and searched for Suv's that made me happy and without the hubs approving my Escalade we opted for a Nissan Quest..Dvd player and all. How do I look? Cute.
On a serious note though this is the first car I have ever purchased in my name with my money I feel so independant and just great!

I never thought I'd see the day.
