Update on Baby Anderson

Anderson's procedure is set for between 12 and 1 this afternoon. In all it should take a few hours and may need to be repeated in the coming days
Our Heavenly father is in control and I know that we are all looking for answers. Please join me in praying for the Parish family during this hard time. Thank you all God Bless!

Prayer NEEDED RIGHT NOW!

If you are out there in the great big world of bloggers and come across this post please pray. A dear family from my church family had their beautiful baby boy Anderson two days ago and last night he stopped breathing. They rushed him to the NICU at Cincinnati children Hospital for immediate heart surgery through the night and we have heard nothing sense. My heart is so heavy right now for them, prayers are greatly appreciated. Little baby Anderson has three big brothers and a wonderful set of parents Leslee and Andy. Thank you

Arm Knitting

In Ohio we are experiencing single digit degrees and lots n lots of snow! I have about 6-8 inches outside my doors right now. I miss Florida needless to say. And the reports are stating tomorrow another snow storm will hit with possible negative temperatures. So we are venturing out to the packed grocery stores stocking up on food, candles, and indoor activities. Our newest up sessions in my home are arm Knitting and craz-loom bracelet making. Two of the biggest new crazes! If any of you have a daughter I'm sure you are finding rubber bands all over your house too. Here's a few photos of arm knitted scarves and a video how-to so you can enjoy this under 30 minute cozy addiction ! I gave these handmade scarves away to each family member at Christmas it was a perfect inexpensive gift for all ages. DIY TIP: Add a clip on flower or broach to add a little unique detail! Enjoy!

Back in 2014!

Wow, Hello again world! Can you believe it has been so many years since my last post? Neither can I. Life truly gets away from you and fly's by. That pregnancy I was so excited about, my last post he is now an amazing, lovable ball of cuteness and terror. Did I mention a red head? Introducing Mason Grae to the blogging world will be fun. Trust me you have missed out on so many funny yet clueless parenting stories I wish I would have wrote them all along the way. Which brings me back to you all. I am back to blogging for several reasons but this year I want to get back to where I was years ago keeping our life a little simpler. And with that came time for myself to write and read the things I cherish.  I did always dream to be a writer one day as a young girl. I am ashamed to say I haven't quite figured out even with three children how to manage a full time career and be the kind of mother I desire to be 24/7 just yet, but really who can be perfect in both areas? So what I am coming back to that is quiet time and learning. Whether it be new crafts, parenting advice, testimonies, recipes, trends and how to's I am here to say I want to read about it! And along the way offer my advice and or ideas too. So here we go cheers to you all I wish you a happy and healthy 2014 filled with Love and Laughter! Thank you so much for reading my blog.

Blessings,
Allie Kay

How far along: 26 WEEKS *ish* lol I need to remember this

Maternity Clothes: Didn't have to buy any until today

Gender: It's a boy! ... I thought a girl..(or at least convinced myself otherwise :(

Movement: I feel the baby move all the time! Especially when I'm lying down!

Sleep: I was constantly tired and going to bed by 10 pm but this past week everything has changed! I have the hardest time falling asleep and calming my brain from all the billions of things goin on in there lol

What I miss: My energy! And yes my body!

Cravings: It was just fruit up until recently now the only thing I've been craving is lots of fluids!I am ALWAYS thirsty!

Best moment with my kids so far looking forward to the new edition: Max always kisses my belly and rubs it slowly than runs back to what ever he was doing with out a second thought..Ava ..still depressed and singing songs in public about how depressed she is she isnt having a sister..lol!
"WHERRRE O wheerr is my sister i just wanteddd one ohhhhhh sisterrr im not happy! .....it goes on and on.
Plus I love when people ask her if she is excited or what we are having and she frowns and says another brother im not happy about this lol!

5 things..

I recently stopped by Jimmy Choos and tennis shoes blog http://jimmychoosandtennisshoes.blogspot.com/..and read her interesting 5 things list about her..Here are mine and go ahead post yours! Its always interesting to hear random facts about others!

1. I NEVER go to bed without washing my face! I started this when I was around 15 and still stick to it so far I am usually blemish free! I am a heavy makeup wearer so I think this is super important! Lets hope it pays off when Im 50!

2. I also (like Tara) ALWAYS have a hair band on my wrist..I just recently caught myself in our family beach photos with a big black band on my wrist and was so frustrated at my silly habit..I rarely wear my hair up and stillll have an emergency backup hair tie lol

3. I had 2 c-sections
My first was an emergency not planned c section and with my second they were so close together and because of how I reacted to natural birth they thought itd be a safe call.

4. I have 3 tattoos All can be hidden in the right setting or shown off for fun..I have a skelton key meaning the key to my heart..a kiss print in lipstick on my midrift and LOVE in cursive on my wrist

5.  I have a silly addiction to watching GOSSIP GIRL its so bad and yet like a good fiction novel thats why I watch I suppose..just lookin for a lil suspense of what happens next..oh and my upsession with big city lifestyle.

Until next time,
Stay classy!

Dr. Seuss FEVER

So IF I haven't mentioned we are moving on SATURDAY and I have been packing my entire home with no ones cough cough help. That is ok though because my husband works so darn hard he literally hasn't had the time off work to help any...

Here is a sneak peak of my new NO GROWN UPS ALOUD HOME I'll post photos when I am done. Just a lil insight to my theory on decorating...I live for my children now I want them to enjoy playtime , snack time anytime at our home and it be cheerful and a kid zone. I want my home to give them inspiration and allow them to daydream...I am breaking all the rules people have made on decorating by making it adult or contempory yada yada yada...I've chose bright colors..chalkboard spaces..polka dots and dr. seuss THIS is going to be fun.
Im so excited!
This is the shower curtain ,rug and towels I ordered from Pottery Barn. The sink style we are adding to our kids bathroom in anoter color. I plan on putting some sort of custom made canvas on the wall..probably with a quote from DR. SEUSS himself like  Today You are You, that is truer than true. no one alive is Youer than You.
Ps. I'm painting the walls yellow. :)

Easy -cheap! kids Halloween decor!

Well I have never REALLY decorated our homes yet since we have rented and unless its Christmas it just wasn't a priority...but now I am so into it and want to go ALL out for every theme...
So all of you Halloween crazed crafters are tempting me slowly to go crazy! lol
Here is one of many I am crazy about because I love for my kids to help do crafts and its SUPER CHEAP! I found this over at eighteen25 and she is so right kids go through milk like it's their job this should be a sinch before Halloween rolls around!!
what you'll need:

clean gallon milk jugs

black permanent marker

craft knife

string of clear low-wattage Christmas lights

step one: draw some spooky faces on your milk jugs.

step two: let your kids color in the faces while you bake a batch of cookies.

step three: using the craft knife (mom), cut a hole in the lower backside of the jug. about the size of a half dollar (or maybe a little bigger since i couldn't picture a half dollar).

step four: line all of your ghosts up and stuff several lights in each one.
step five: place your group of glowing spirit jugs along your walkway or front porch to welcome those cute little holiday guests.

WOW there really is over 1000 saved no joke! I have a bag full of baby clothes for each child I plan to cut into squares and quilt together..a cabinet full of bow making items, and empty canvases I bought when I had planned to paint something spectacular! At least I am not completely hopless I do take 1 day a month to do a scrapbooking marathon with friends from 9am-9pm but I usually keep at it till 1!~ haha...

Vegetarian?? Know about it??

So I have a silly confession. I am so grossed out by meat. Yet I am not a vegetarian. I gag almost every time I eat something besides turkey on a sandwich. Definitely would never eat off a bone, and sometimes even someone talking about or saying oh we're having or eating ground beef tonight disgust me. The names the fact that it comes from animals..I just don't understand it. So I am contemplating going vegetarian..I think it'll be hard..and I am disgusted by eggs so where can I get my basic protein in?? Any thoughts or comments???!!??

PS. My husband is obsessed with meat...can you have a vegetarian and a hunter in the same home??

Jogging Strollers : DO or DONT?

I was skeptic of buying a jogging stroller, yea they're fancy and all the hip mama's may have them but how great are they? I went to BabysRus and spent at least and hour pushing around the empty strollers and folding them up and down! I'm a petite mama I need practical I need light weight! But I started considering how easy could I fit through isles at my beloved target or even the mall ? But I'll cut the the point it is amazing I am so glad I bought this stroller. The only bad review from other parents were that jogger style strollers tend to have wheel maintenance if they pop or lose air. No prob my baby's got a air pump in the garage!! ha ha And its so light! It is huge when folded but I've got the spare room in the trunk of my mini van! So mt vote is to all you Mommy's considering an upgrade go for it! And did I mention the small mommy IPOD plug in and speakers on the handle? And it was the easiest to fold and pop up- hands down!Or the reclining seats?? O I am just so excited I can't wait to get this baby outside come on OHIO bring on the sunshine!! :)

Blondes do have more fun!

I gave it my all ladies..I have been highlighting, coloring my hair since well 4th grade!! I was born blonde and by 3rd grade it started growing only from the roots out a very dark brown very dirty dish water color I might add so my mother took care of that! ha! Bleach was my new best friend! And now I have tried out the brunette thing in between the highschool years and always turned back to blonde. Now an adult I have left it alone (for the most part) as a brunette for 2 1/2 years and decided I feel boring, blah I always feel BETTER when blonde and I can't explain it other than leaving it at that..some people have push up bras I have blonde hair!~ SO there's no turning back..I hope tomorrow is the big appointment! Pictures will post soon of me and my blonde hair and my babies too :-) Have a wonderful week everyone!
